Advantages of ceramic composite wear-resistant pipes

What are the advantages of ceramic wear-resistant pipes:


(1) The inner lining is corundum ceramic (a-AL2O3), the Mohs hardness can reach 9.0, which is equivalent to more than HRC90, and the wear resistance life is ten times or even dozens of times that of quenched steel.


(2) It can operate normally for a long time in the temperature range of -50--700℃. The shrinkage coefficient of the data line is 6-8×10-6/0C, which is about 1/2 of the steel pipe, and has good thermal stability.


(3) The ceramic layer is (a-AL2O3), which is neutral, has acid and alkali resistance and seawater corrosion resistance, and has anti-scaling and other characteristics at the same time.


(4) Compared with the engineering budget and engineering practice of relevant design institutes and construction units, the engineering cost of the pipe is comparable to that of cast stone, and compared with the wear-resistant alloy pipe, the engineering cost is reduced by about 20%.


Uses of ceramic wear-resistant pipes:


It has been popularized in electric power, metallurgy, coal, petroleum, chemical industry, building materials, machinery and other industries. When the abrasive materials are transported in the wear-resistant pipeline (such as ash, coal powder, mineral powder, tailings, cement, etc.), the wear-resistant pipeline wears quickly, especially the elbow wears faster. Wear-resistant pipes are easily corroded when transporting strongly corrosive gases, liquids or solids. Wear-resistant pipelines are used for the transportation of severely worn mine filling materials, ore concentrates and tailings, and coal-fired thermal power plants for powder delivery, slag removal, and ash transportation. The wear-resistant pipeline can transport the acid, alkali, salt and solid and liquid which are both abrasive and corrosive.
