Bimetallic composite pipe

Steel mill bimetal composite pipeline wear-resistant pipe transportation has spread all over the power, metallurgy, coal, petroleum, chemical, building materials, machinery and other industries, and developed at a high speed. Wear of wear-resistant pipes is a ubiquitous phenomenon, and wear occurs on surfaces where two objects are in contact with each other and have relative motion. Pipe wear refers to the wear phenomenon of damage and damage caused by the separation or transfer of the material surface when the pipe material is impacted by flowing water and small and loose particles.

The use of ideal high-strength, high-toughness, and high-plastic wear-resistant pipes is an important way to reduce abrasive wear.

The materials of wear-resistant pipes are basically divided into four categories, 1. Polymer material pipes; 2. Inorganic non-metallic material pipes; 3. Metal material pipes; 4. Composite material pipes.

Wear-resistant pipes are widely used in the transportation of severely worn mine filling materials, ore concentrate and tailings, and are also very suitable for wear-resistant pipes such as powder feeding, slag removal, and ash transportation in coal-fired thermal power plants.

In order to find a balance between high wear resistance, connectability and impact resistance, bimetal composite wear-resistant pipes came into being and have been widely used since the late 1990s. The bimetallic composite pipeline can not only ensure the requirements of pipeline toughness, weldability and strength (compression resistance), but also ensure sufficient wear resistance. It is an ideal wear-resistant pipeline solution for material transportation.
