Can wear-resistant ceramic pipes be welded?

Many customers have found that when the newly purchased wear-resistant ceramic pipes are welded with flanges at both ends, the internal ceramics may fall off due to the heat generated during welding. The editor below will answer it for you.

The first thing to do is to determine which process the wear-resistant ceramic tube you are welding is produced by.

1. The patch process cannot be welded.

2. The self-propagating centrifugal high-temperature casting process can be welded. The welding method is the same as that of ordinary 20# and Q235 steel pipes, and the lining ceramics will not be damaged and fall off, because the combination of wear-resistant ceramic pipes in this process is about 2000 ℃ metallurgical bonding.
