The hardness of corundum layer is as high as HV1100-1400, which is equivalent to tungsten-cobalt cemented carbide, and its wear resistance is more than 20 times higher than that of carbon steel pipe. The wear resistance of ceramic steel pipes mainly depends on the corundum layer with a thickness of several millimeters in the inner layer, which has made a qualitative leap compared with wear-resistant alloy cast steel pipes and cast stone pipes not only by composition and structure, but also by thickness. The melting point of corundum in the ceramic steel pipe is 2045°C. The corundum layer and the steel layer have special structures and special stress fields due to technological reasons.


At room temperature, the ceramic layer is subjected to compressive stress, and the steel layer is subjected to tensile stress. Only when the temperature rises above 400°C, because the thermal expansion coefficients of the two are different, the new stress field generated by the thermal expansion makes the original stress field in the ceramic steel pipe cancel each other out, so that the ceramic layer and the steel layer are in a state of stress balance. When the temperature rises to 900 ℃, put the ceramic steel pipe into cold water, and repeat it for many times, the ceramic layer will not crack or crack, showing the unparalleled thermal shock resistance of ordinary ceramics, which is very important in engineering construction. usefulness. The inner layer of the ceramic steel pipe is dense α-type aluminum oxide, which has an acid resistance of 96-98%. Aluminum oxide is a neutral oxide and has no chemical reaction with acid, alkali and salt. Aluminium oxide is an inorganic substance.
