Working principle:

The coal and gangue in the heavy medium cyclone are affected by gravity and centrifugal force. When the particle density is greater than the density of the suspension, the direction of the acting force is the same as the direction of centrifugal acceleration. The particles do centrifugal motion in the cyclone medium and concentrate in the outer layer. Due to the interference and subsidence, the large gangue is close to the wall of the vessel, followed by the gangue with medium and small particle sizes that converge to form a spiral motion gangue belt. discharge. When the particle density is less than the suspension density, the particles move centripetally in the cyclone and concentrate near the central axis of the cyclone, forming a clean coal belt in a spiral motion. When the coal slurry moves to the overflow pipe, the clean coal is pressed to the overflow pipe and discharged along the overflow pipe.
