The bimetallic wear-resistant elbow, which has a carbon steel outer layer on the inner wall, is formed by lost foam negative pressure casting and has high wear-resistant properties. It is currently the mainstream industrial wear-resistant type.
Performance characteristics of bimetallic wear-resistant elbow grinding products:
1、Good wear resistance
The hardness HRC of the superhard wear-resistant alloy is ≥ 56, which has excellent wear resistance and thermal stability.
2、Impact resistance, metal bonding performance, and thermal shock resistance
The superhard alloy bimetallic wear-resistant elbow produced by our company has a metallurgical bonding surface between the two metals, ensuring safe and reliable use. The thermal expansion coefficients of both are equivalent, and there will be no phenomenon of expansion, contraction, or cracking. The outer wall of the pipe is made of steel pipe, and the inner lining is made of super hard wear-resistant alloy. This product not only has the wear and corrosion resistance characteristics of high alloy products, but also has high mechanical properties and impact resistance.
3、Good heat and corrosion resistance
The matrix of superhard alloy materials has strong heat and corrosion resistance, and can display good corrosion and wear resistance in high temperature or corrosive environments. Under the interaction of wet, corrosive media, and particle erosion, it is more suitable to use super hard wear-resistant alloys as cast. Under dry working conditions where abrasive wear is the main failure mode, a superhard wear-resistant alloy material that can obtain a martensitic matrix through heat treatment is selected.
4、Low composite cost and good quality
The bimetallic wear-resistant elbow is manufactured using internationally advanced lost foam casting technology, with high yield, good product density, uniform thickness, and stable quality.
5、Convenient transportation, installation, and use
Bimetallic wear-resistant elbow can be connected using flange series, quick joints, direct welding, and other methods. Moreover, due to the high impact resistance of composite pipes, when local blockages occur during pipeline system maintenance, they can be knocked, hammered, cut, replaced, welded, and installed at will, making maintenance very convenient.
