The corrosion resistance of ceramic wear-resistant pipe is better than that of 304 steel pipe

Ceramic wear-resistant pipe is a kind of wear-resistant pipe. Different from the traditional production process, the ceramic wear-resistant tube produced by self-propagating technology has a common structure. The common organizational structure also determines its excellent comprehensive performance. It is not only wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, high hardness and strength, but also has a good resistance to mechanical shock and thermal shock comprehensive performance.

Ceramic wear-resistant pipes are substantially different from traditional steel pipes, wear-resistant alloy cast steel pipes, cast stone pipes, steel plastic pipes, steel rubber pipes, etc. The outer layer of the ceramic wear-resistant tube is seamless steel pipe, and the inner layer is corundum. The hardness of the corundum layer is as high as HV1100-1400, which is equivalent to tungsten cobalt carbide, and the wear resistance is more than 15 times higher than that of carbon steel tubes. The wear resistance of ceramic wear-resistant pipe is mainly based on the inner layer of a few millimeters of corundum layer, which is a qualitative leap compared with wear-resistant alloy cast steel pipe and cast stone pipe by composition and organization, and by thickness.

At normal temperature, the ceramic layer is subjected to compressive stress and the steel layer is subjected to tensile stress. As long as the temperature rises to more than 400 ° C, because the thermal contraction coefficient of the two is different, the new stress field generated by thermal contraction makes the original stress field in the ceramic wear-resistant tube offset each other, so that the ceramic layer and the steel layer are in a state of stress equilibrium. When the temperature rises to 900 ° C, the ceramic wear-resistant tube is put into cold water, repeated, the ceramic layer does not crack or crack, showing the ordinary ceramic has no comparable thermal shock resistance, which is of great use in engineering construction. Because the outer layer is steel, and the inner layer does not crack when the temperature rises, in the construction, the flange, purge port, explosion-proof door can be stopped welding, and the direct welding method can also be used to stop the pipe connection, which is better than the wear-resistant alloy cast steel pipe, cast stone pipe, steel plastic pipe, steel rubber pipe in the construction is not easy to weld or can not be welded. The ceramic wear-resistant pipe has good mechanical impact resistance, and the corundum layer does not break and fall when it is transported, installed, knocked and bent by the weight between the two supports.
