Precautions For Using Wear-resistant Ceramic Pipes

Wear-resistant ceramic pipes themselves have performance characteristics such as corrosion resistance, high strength, good toughness, and impact resistance. Generally, there will be no problems if used correctly, but because wear-resistant ceramic pipes are composed of a steel layer and a wear-resistant ceramic layer Wear-resistant ceramic pipes, in order to avoid safety problems during use, some matters need to be paid attention to.
1. Wear-resistant ceramic pipes themselves have high hardness and toughness, but they should be handled with care during transportation and installation to avoid serious collisions, especially to avoid direct use of metal equipment. Contact or impact the ceramic layer on the end surface to prevent the ceramic layer from loosening and causing safety accidents during use;
2. When installing wear-resistant ceramic pipes, the center lines of the pipes should be aligned and the height should be leveled to ensure that both ends are accurately aligned, and the amount of misalignment at both ends should be controlled within 1.0 mm.
3. When using hose connectors and flexible clamps to install wear-resistant ceramic pipes, the insertion lengths of both ends of the hose connector or flexible clamp should be adjusted symmetrically. Since the thermal expansion coefficient of wear-resistant ceramic pipes is about one-third that of steel, the expansion space can be reduced to 3-5mm.
4. When using flange connection, the end face of the flange should be flush with the end face of the wear-resistant ceramic pipe.
5. Due to the excellent welding performance of wear-resistant ceramic pipes, pipe connection methods can be achieved through welding. When welding, if it is a wear-resistant ceramic pipe, the welding part needs to be left free of ceramics. The groove should be 70° to 90°, the blunt edge should be 2-4mm, and there should be no gap. It is recommended to use low current for welding.
Wear-resistant ceramic pipes not only have superior performance, but are also widely used. The longest service life can reach 10 to 20 years. It is a very cost-effective wear-resistant pipe and has its unique advantages in various industries.
