Centrifugal casting process makes liquid steel solidified and formed under gravity conditions dozens of times higher than that of conventional casting, which solves the problem of loose inside the cast tube billet well. It has high metal density and good drainage and exhaust effect. The centrifugal cast pipe has high dimensional accuracy and uniform wall thickness, which provides a favorable guarantee for the dimensional accuracy of the subsequent processing products.
The centrifugal casting process of bimental composite pipe has high flexibility for the production of small batch, multiple varieties and specifications, high quality and high added value steel pipe. Therefore, bimetallic wear-resistant tube must be centrifugal casting. The fully centrifugally cast bimetallic wear-resisting tube not only overcomes the shortcomings of various wear-resisting tubes, but also has the following characteristics compared with the conventional composite tube of wear-resisting layer in steel pipe pouring.
Firstly, the metals in the inner and outer layers of centrifugal casting are interfused at high temperature on the bonding surface, so the formed metallurgical bonding layer is uniform and complete. The inner metal layer can effectively improve the strength of the whole pipe, and the outer layer has enough toughness.
Secondly, because the inner metal flows on the outer high temperature surface during the casting process, the temperature drops slowly and there is sufficient time for the inclusion to be discharged, so the surface of the tube body is smooth and flat.
Thirdly, the outer layer does not need to be rolled in advance to produce seamless tube, and the double layer metal is cast in one time, so the production cost is low.
