Hydrocyclone structure

Hydrocyclone: It is a device used to separate and remove heavy coarse-grained mud and sand in sewage. Sometimes it is also used for mud dehydration. There are two kinds of pressure type and gravity type, which are often made of circular cylindrical structures or metal pipes. Water enters tangentially from the upper part of the structure (or metal pipe) by pressure or gravity. Under the action of centrifugal force, coarse and heavy particulate matter is thrown to the wall of the vessel and rotates downward to be discharged together with the formed thick liquid. Smaller particulate matter is rotated to a certain extent and then discharged with the secondary upward vortex.

Product advantages: The feeding port adopts the involute direction to feed the material, which increases the centrifugal force of the material, improves the classification effect and reduces the wear of the feed box; the involute method can reduce the risk of material entering the cyclone. The turbulence generated by the sudden divergence, the slurry runs smoothly inside the cyclone, thereby improving the separation performance of the cyclone and reducing the impact and wear of the material on the ore box; the length ratio of the column cone section of the hydrocyclone and the overflow The insertion depth of the flow tube is reasonable, and the classification efficiency is high; the wear-resistant rubber is used as the lining, and the service life can be extended by 2-4 times; the structure design is reasonable, the classification index is high, and the index fluctuation is small.
The working principle of the hydrocyclone: under the action of pressure, the ore slurry enters the shell through the ore feeding pipe along the tangential direction of the cylinder, and makes a rotary motion in the shell. The centrifugal force enters the periphery of the rotary flow, and at the same time flows downward with the slurry flow, and finally is discharged from the bottom grit nozzle to become grit; the fine particles are subjected to a small centrifugal force, are in the center of the rotary flow and move with the liquid flow, and finally are discharged by the overflow The pipe discharge becomes overflow.
The structure of the hydrocyclone: the lower part is a conical shell, the upper part is connected to a cylindrical shell l, the upper opening of the cylindrical shell is sealed, and there is a bottom plate in the middle. The lower part is connected with the ore feeding pipe along the tangential direction of the cylindrical shell surface, the overflow discharge pipe is connected with the bottom plate along the tangential direction of the shell, and the lower end of the cone has a replaceable grit nozzle. Hydrocyclones are mostly made of wear-resistant cast iron. In order to reduce the wear rate of the inner wall of the shell, wear-resistant materials such as diabase cast stone and wear-resistant rubber are often used as linings. The specifications of the hydrocyclone are expressed by the diameter of the cylinder. The cone angle of the cone can be different, generally a minimum of 10° and a maximum of 45°.
